Good balanced report that. I think this site misses a regular match report. I thought you over marked Arnie as thought he was awful. The typos greatly amused me as well!

Cheers Sniper ~

I enjoyed the read which I think is a pretty fair assessment

The auto correct is a bit annoying & (as has been said) we are only allowed 3 subs!

I think your player ratings are about right

I would have given the ref 2 out of 10 though (One for turning up & another for (eventually) sending Aurier off

I wouldn't have given him 0 because (sadly) we will no doubt get even worse refs this season

Thanks, I'm still wondering wtf Billic was thinking when he brought Carroll on

Ha! Cheers - I think my auto correct just assumes 'shit' is going to follow whenever I type 'carroll'!

Really enjoyed that write up, thanks for taking the time. That typo about Carroll dragging a shit wide cracked me up. Cheers Sniper.

I thought the second actually highlighted fonte's woeful lack of pace - he just couldn't keep up at all.

Really I think the game actually highlighted the true difference between standard premier league players and the quality ones. Spurs didn't really create much - they had 5 shots on target and scored three. They just took their opportunities when they came and we didn't.

At the time I thought how badly we played but actually it was the half hour either side of half time where we were poor. For the first 30 minutes and the last 25 we were the better side

Ogbonna was fucking toilet. Every time he plays, in whatever formation, we concede shitloads. His failure to track the run for their second was appalling. Schoolboy stuff.

Other than that, not much to disagree with

Sounds like you liked the Stadium.

There are a few on here who won't like that.

Sublime, wasn't it? I thought it was actually in the box but might be wrong. 32 years old, constantly running the length of the pitch in a role he's never played before and he gets behind Ali and whips the ball off his foot like a dad playing with his six-year old.

I was chatting to a sports journalist before the Huddersfield game and he said Zab is only with us for a last pay-day before he retires but is he fuck! In a way it's similar to when we bought Liam Brady. Plenty of football left in the old dog yet.

Sarge

That was originally meant to be a comment on a wasted sub by ringing ayew on when sakho may have been needed later on but I couldn't get it to make sense and thought I'd deleted it - instead I just left it as a sentence that was totally wrong!

Re: West Ham v Tottenham - a belated match review
Zaba robbing the ball off Alli on the edge of our box second half was straight out of the Bobby Moore v Pele handbook, beautiful to watch

Excellent stuff and pretty much how i saw it.

I have to say Creswell is pony defensively

And i think i love Zaba.

Re: West Ham v Tottenham - a belated match review
I'm still baffled as to why, with 3 minutes to go against 10 men and needing 1 more goal, you wouldn't make the final substitution and bring Sakho on

Are we allowed 4 now?
